What Built Us
SpontiBonti Stitching & Co. is more than a clothing brand—it’s a movement born from resilience and a mission to break the stigma around mental health. Founded by Kris Watanabe, a disabled veteran living with bipolar disorder, SpontiBonti was inspired by Kris’s journey through homelessness and recovery.
Behind Our Name
SpontiBonti blends 'Sponti,' capturing the positive side of impulsivity, 'Bonti,' which is derived from the Dutch word 'bont,' meaning vibrant spectrum of colors. Together, they reflect our mission to embrace and celebrate the diverse experiences of mental health.
Our Mission
We transform stories of mental health into bold fashion statements, empowering individuals to wear their truth with courage. Each piece sparks conversations, amplifies voices, and fosters understanding, creating a world where everyone feels valued and heard.
When you wear SpontiBonti, you’re part of a movement—raising awareness, inspiring change, and celebrating authenticity.
